About Lydia
My husband and I are a mix of many things—clinical pharmacists, entrepreneurs, investors, world travelers, and parents to three amazing kids. I specialize in cardiology, spending my days solving clinical puzzles, mentoring resident pharmacists, and working on meaningful projects. At the same time, we run a thriving short-term rental business, dive into content creation, and explore ways to build wealth while keeping life fun and fulfilling.
Our journey to financial independence has been anything but a straight line. We tackled six-figure student debt, made big (and sometimes questionable) splurges—like annual sabbaticals and three wedding receptions to honor our cultures—and invested methodically and intentionally along the way. Some choices were mistakes, but many were the best money we’ve ever spent. For us, it’s never been just about saving for the future; it’s about building a life that blends financial freedom with meaningful experiences.
We believe wealth isn’t just about retiring early—although that’s also one of our goals—it’s about having the freedom to spend time with family, travel the world, and take on challenges that matter.
